February 26th Folded Secrets - Chinese Thread Booklet with Ruth Smith
The women of the Dong group make an intriguing decorative book in which to keep their threads, patterns and cherished photos. The book opens up into fifteen compartments. You will be able to complete a similar book during the day and ideas will be given for the internal decoration as well as the cover.
Preparation of the paper pieces will be required before the day - instructions will be given with the requirements list as well as suggestions for the appropriate paper.
April 16th Fancy Baubles with Beppy Berlin
By special request from members, Beppy returns to give another of her wonderful handstitching workshop. The baubles are made in the shape of a strawberry and embellished with flowers or beads & crystals etc
June 25th Liquid Colour plus Tray Dyeing with Karen Mallik
Karen will help you to create dramatic textures on cloth with Procion dyes. The liquid colour dyeing she demonstrated last year will form part of the day and this will be followed by tray dyeing - a sort of hybrid between space dyeing and shibori.

November 26th Decorative Book Covers with Eleanor Jakeman

We meet socially in the evening once a month to enjoy a programme of speakers and demonstrations. Our evening meetings are on the third Monday of every month, except August, in the Priory Hall, Love Lane (St. John’s Ambulance), Andover, SP10 2AB - next to the Wolversdene Club - at 7.30pm We also hold workshops in Goodworth Clatford Village Club every two months.
